Christian Duncan was born in New York City and raised in Maplewood, NJ, with over a decade of experience in banking and financial services. He currently serves as a Business Development Banker at Blue Foundry Bank, supporting small businesses and nonprofits in northern New Jersey.

 

Chris is passionate about addressing homelessness and supporting families in need, which is why Family Promise’s mission resonates deeply with him.  He is drawn to its holistic approach, providing both immediate support and long-term stability for families.

 

Although Chris is new to the organization, he is impressed by the dedication of the staff and volunteers and excited to contribute to Family Promise’s growth. As a father,  he values the importance of stability and support for families, and is eager to help expand community outreach, forge new partnerships, and promote financial literacy.

 

Chris's long-term goal is to help Family Promise increase its capacity to serve more families through innovative programs and sustainable funding. He believes that collaboration is the backbone of Family Promise’s success—by working together, we can pool resources, share ideas, and create lasting impact.

 

Chris is excited to contribute through business development, community outreach, and advocacy!
