A Message about how Covid-19 has affected our services:

When the New Jersey State Shelter in Place Mandate occurred on March 13th, 2020, we were no longer able to use our previous model of congregational rotations. We needed to pivot and pivot quickly. We are happy to report that we successfully re-housed our families into static locations. Static locations are fixed sites for the families to stay, and volunteers to provide the hospitality from afar. The static site model also engages our congregational and community partners. Our families are doing well and are all safe.

However, this program model change came at significant expense–an expense that was sudden and unexpected. Many of you have asked how you can help the neediest and most vulnerable in our community during these scary and uncertain times. One easy way is to make a contribution to our shelter program, which you can do by donating through our website. Every dollar we raise helps provide shelter for homeless and housing-insecure families, so anything helps.
Thank you for your generosity.
