Cynthia M. Blue’s professional career spans over forty-four (44) years, of which thirteen (13) years were
spent in the private sector as a staff accountant for a major real estate developer prior to working thirty-one years as an administrator in local government.

Cynthia has held various position throughout her career with the City of Jersey City, as Fiscal Officer,
Project Manager, Chief Grants & Compliance Officer and Fiscal Director of Grants Administration for the City of Jersey City. Cynthia has had direct oversight and management for the construction and gut rehabilitation of over 500 units of affordable and mixed use housing in Jersey City. On March 1 , 2016
Cynthia retired from Jersey City after thirty-one years. Currently she is the sole proprietor of Blue Star
Development LLC.

She is the mother of two children and has three grown grandchildren. Cynthia is member of Abundant Joy Community Church in Jersey City, Morning Star Chapter # 4 Order of Eastern Star State of New Jersey and Executive Board Member of B.L.E.S.C., (Blacks In Law Enforcement Servicing the Community in Jersey City.

She has always devoted her time, resources and energy to and for the community and continues to be a
constant advocate for those in need.
