Debra Pelto

Secretary

 

Dr. Pelto is a public health professional whose work focuses on prevention, quality of care, and health equity.  She has over 30 years of experience in service delivery, grants management, research and evaluation, teaching and training, and advocacy.  She has worked primarily in clinical, academic, community, and government settings, mainly in programs that serve vulnerable, marginalized, and underserved communities.  Debra holds a B.A. (Kalamazoo College) in Spanish, and an M.P.H. and Ph.D. (Columbia University) in Sociomedical Sciences. Debra, her husband, and her son live in Hoboken and are members of Grace Church Van Vorst.
